Summon Mork Full Touch Sustained - 2 11
—Heroic (+1)
—Action (-1)
—Mental Link (1)
Description: You can call upon another creature—a minion (see page 63)—to aid you. This creature is created as an independent character with (rank × 15) power points. Your minion automatically has a helpful attitude and does its best to aid you and obey your commands. Unconscious and dead minions disappear. Defeated minions recover normally except they recover from death as if they were disabled. You cannot summon a defeated minion until it has completely recovered. Your summoned minions also vanish if your power is turned off, countered, or nullified.
Summon Mindy Full Touch Sustained - 2 11

Electric Control (Array) - - - - 2 11
—Alternate Powers (Datalink, Teleport, ESP) Description: You can generate electricity, projecting a Dazzle (see page 77) of electrical energy at your power rank.
Dazzle (Visual) Full Perception Instant (Lasting) Reflex/Fortitude 2 10
—Action (-1)
—Range (+1)
—Reversible (1)

Description: You can overload all of a target’s visual senses, rendering them temporarily useless.
{Radio} Datalink Reaction Extended Sustained - 2 10
—Action (+1)
—Machine Control (1)
—Cyberspace (1)
Distance: 200,000 mi. (Earth to Moon)
Description: You can interface with computers over a distance.
Machine Control: In addition to digital devices, you can mentally control and operate machines. You can operate any machine in your range as if you were physically operating it or had a remote control for it, a Move Object effect at your power rank (Limited to only affecting machines). You make normal use of your various skills to operate machines, if necessary.
Cyberspace: You can project your consciousness into the “cyberspace” of a computer network, operating “inside” the system. Your physical body remains unconscious and helpless while your mind is in cyberspace.
{Digital} Teleport Move Personal Instant Reflex 1 11
—Medium (Digital Media) (-1)
—Change Direction (1)
—Change Velocity (1)
—Easy (1)
—Turnabout (1)
—Progression (7) 20,000 lbs.
Description: You can move instantly from place to place without crossing the distance in between. You can teleport yourself and up to 20,000 lbs. of additional mass a distance of (power rank × 100) feet as a move action. Unwilling passengers get a Reflex save (DC 10 + power rank) to avoid being taken along. At rank 3 and above, you can also take a full action and teleport 200,000 mi. (Earth to Moon). You can only teleport to places you can accurately sense or know especially well (in the GM’s judgment).
{Digital} ESP Move Extended Concentration - 2 11
—Medium (-1)(Digital Media) Description: You can displace your visual and audio senses over a distance, perceiving as if you were at that location, up to 200,000 mi away. ESP overrides your normal sense(s) while you are using it. Subjects observed via ESP can sense it with a Notice check (DC 10 + rank), unless you have the Subtle power feat (see page 110).
You can make Notice and Search checks normally using your displaced
senses. To search a large area for someone or something, use the extended
search guidelines under Search (see page 53).
Immunity Reaction Personal Permanent - 1 10
—Dazzle Effects (5)
—Electricity (5)
Description: You are immune to Dazzle and Electrical effects, automatically succeeding on any saving throws or ability checks against them.
Absorption Standard Personal Sustained - 1 7
—Energy Storage (+1)
—Power Magnet (+1)
—Power Magnet Range: Perception (+1)
—Limited (-2)
—Duration (-1)
—Action (-3)
—Slow Fade (2)
—Alternate Power (Healing)(1)
Description: After absorbing damage, as a reaction, you can immediately use Boost (see page 77) on a particular trait or Healing (see page 87), either only targeting on a mechanical construct. If an Absorption Healing attempt fails, you can try again the next time you absorb energy (rather than having to wait or spend a hero point like Healing normally requires). Energy Storage: You can “store” absorbed energy. You can have up to (rank × 10) energy points at once (excess energy dissipates harmlessly). Stored energy harmlessly “bleeds off” at a rate of 1 point per 5 minutes. Power Magnet: You can absorb energy from suitable sources (such as generators, power lines, and so forth) at a distance of (power rank × 100 feet) within your perception range. It takes a standard action to absorb energy in this way. Reduce the power source’s output that round by your power rank and gain temporary power points equal to twice its rank or twice your power rank, whichever is less.

Bio:
Name Pronunciation oh-reh-LEE de STĪG-ər
Age 24
Height 180 cm (~5’ 10")
Weight 65 kg (~143 lbs)

Aurélie is a studious thinker and enjoys anything and everything physical sciences. She lacks any striking features and is soft-spoken, and some might describe her as plain, but she has a shy yet warm smile that she occasionally shows. She keeps to herself and is usually quite uncomfortable in social settings, and though she is lacking in social skills, she will gladly talk your ear off about the technological revolutions of the information age of 2009.

Motivations

Having never secured a strong relationship with her father, Aurélie hopes to one day earn his love and respect by becoming a prominent member of the scientific community and being on the cusp of new technology and scientific discovery.

Aurélie remembers her mother as a soft, gentle, and graceful woman; the epitome of femininity. She constantly curses herself for her clumsiness and wishes she could be as beautiful and elegant as she recalls her mother.

Her current role model is Professeur Jean-Philippe Ansermet, professeur of Physical Sciences at EPFL. He treats her as if she were his own daughter, and she strives to meet his high expectations of her academic ability.

Aurélie is a bit frightened of Leto and his seemingly amoral recklessness, but having discovered her new powers and a possible friend in Baron and Tim, Aurélie’s motivation is to be accepted and to come to understand what her new role in this world is.

Aurélie doesn’t have a terribly strong sense of justice, but rather an awareness and distaste for injustice. She is more likely to be passive or defensive in a situation where no one’s life or well-being is in danger. Her Swiss heritage has ingrained a strong desire for peace and mutual understanding between people, and she would have to be pushed to the extreme to lift her own hand against any person, no matter how evil she perceived them. She is, however, highly logical and calculated, and if by her best calculations she determines the extermination of one will save many, Mork and Mindy serve as a means by which she can enact justice against a dangerous foe.

Both intrigued and repulsed by The General’s plan with the Superior Army, she can’t help but be curious to see what he is all about.

Education

Aurélie is a first-year graduate student attending EPFL, one of the two Swiss Federal Institutes of Technology and located in Lausanne, Switzerland. As a student of the university’s School of Basic Sciences, her primary concentration is in Physical Sciences. She is privately tutored by the department head Professeur Jean-Philippe Ansermet (ahn-ser-MEY), who has noticed her brilliant mind and remarkable understanding of the physical sciences.

Family

Relation Name (Age)
Father Michel de Steiger (51)
Mother Aurélie de Steiger (deceased)
Siblings Lucien (29) Lena (29) Noah (17)

Aurélie is named after her mother, who died of post-natal complications shortly after the birth of Aurélie’s younger brother, Noah. Lucien and Lena are fraternal twins.

Aurélie’s father, Michel (mih-SHELL) de Steiger, is a founding member and CMO of Steiger Nahrungsmittel GMBH (Steiger Foods, Inc.), a large food distribution company that specializes in cacao, cane sugar, almonds, hazelnuts, vanilla, chocolate, and organic products. Steiger Nahrungsmittel GMBH is Michel’s pride, and he spends most of his time away from the de Steiger estate for business purposes.

As a result, Michel’s relationship with all his children, with the exception of his oldest son, is fairly strained to nonexistent. His children were raised primarily by his elder daughter Lena.

Aurélie and her siblings see Lena as a maternal figure as much as an older sister. Lena, as a result, grew especially close to her two younger siblings, but earned the contempt of her twin brother. Lucien was intentionally rebellious to any advice or admonition by his twin sister, and made it a point to garner their father’s favor. Lucien is now working in an executive office at the family company and, like Aurélie’s father, rarely makes any attempt to keep in contact with the other children of the family.

Interests

Aurélie loves to tinker with things. She collects computer and mechanical parts from discarded parts she happens across. Her tiny studio apartment is cluttered with small mechanical gadgets she has constructed in her spare time. A lot of her devices don’t work as brilliantly as she imagined since she is so clumsy trying to piece them together, and as a result, many sit incomplete in corners and under other clutter.

Aurélie also keeps up on the latest technology and always keeps a PDA phone on her person. She has a few desktop computers in her apartment she has built and a few laptops she recovered from EPFL’s dumpster and repaired to above and beyond their former glory.
